Rules

picksjar is for recommending media you would vouch for. A few rules keep it that way. Effective 22 September 2026.

What is not allowed

• Harassment, threats, or hate directed at a person or a group — in a jar, a title, a tag, or a name.
• Anything illegal, and anything that sexualises minors, in any form and by any route.
• Spam: jars made in bulk, affiliate dumps, or a jar that exists to push a link rather than recommend it.
• Impersonating a person, a brand, or picksjar itself.
• Using jars to target someone — the media is YouTube's, Spotify's and TMDB's and their rules apply to it; what you put next to it, and what you call it, is on you.

What happens

We remove content that breaks these and may close the account. Serious or repeated cases are blocked from signing in again. picksjar is run by one person: expect a reply within a few days, not minutes.

Reporting

Every jar and profile has a Report link that opens an email with the page's address filled in. Or write to support@picksjar.com. What we store about you, and how to delete it, is in the privacy policy.

Changes

If these rules change in a way that matters, the date above changes with them.
